10 Tips To Survive (And Enjoy) The Holiday Season!

We all know that the holidays can create more stress than “peace on earth.” So if you find yourself gravitating toward your bed in the hopes of pulling the covers over your head and not getting up until the second week of January, then consider these suggestions for surviving and enjoying the holiday season, (from Dr. Ellen Costello, Director of the Women’s Partial Program at Butler Hospital)

So there you have it.  The whole point of Christmas is to celebrate Jesus’ birth, not compete to see who’s gift was better or who can cook the better meal.  Like Thanksgiving, it is a time of celebration, a time of reflection, a time to be with family and a time to give thanks. Oh yes, and a time to eat, drink and be merry!  I got that last one down to a science!

Have a safe and Merry Christmas from the Watson Family to yours!

If you’re anything like me at all, I get really excited when I know there’s a movie coming on or when my 14-month old daughter Karmyn and I have a lazy day, there is nothing like relaxing on the couch with a good movie on the tube. Christmastime is known for alot of things and movies rank high on the list. It’s a time when parents and kids can curl up on the couch and get under the fleece blanket with some good hot chocolate or warm apple cider and watch some great movie classics, all of which are rated “Family”.
