A Message from East Toronto‘s Chapter Director
Hi Everyone!!
My name is Alyssa and I am so excited to officially introduce myself as the Director for Mommy Connections East Toronto!
I joined Mommy Connections in 2017 when my daughter, Sadie, was 6 weeks old. My hopes were to make a few friends and have something to do during my mat leave. Little did I know that I would be introduced to the most amazing community that would help and support me during this crazy transition to the most important role of my life!
In the midst of 2020, I was on my second Mat leave with my youngest daughter, Lila. I knew that I wanted to help create a safe and engaging space for others and work within the Mommy Connections community in any way possible.
I went on to facilitate numerous Mom and Baby, Mini Movers and Travelling Tots classes and then starting coordinating the programs for Mommy Connections East Toronto. I also enjoyed organizing the free stroller socials that have introduced many people from the area to Mommy Connections for the first time!
Fast forward to summer of 2021… I had the opportunity to take over the Mommy Connections East Toronto chapter as Director and it’s been one of the BEST experiences of my life!
I often tell people that I feel like I have won the lottery by getting the chance to be involved with Mommy Connections!
I sincerely look forward to meeting every one of you and your little ones at our upcoming programs.
