DESCRIPTION:Make life-long friends\, learn\, and create lasting memories with your little one at Mommy Connections Moncton! \nIt can be hard to find activities that are fun for both of you AND baby once he or she is on the move – which inspired us to create Mini Movers! \nThe evolution of our flagship Mom & Baby program\, Mini Movers offers the same format and benefits – but geared towards crawlers\, scooters and early walkers. \nEach week features a discussion and/or activity led by a local expert\, followed by a chance for the babes to play and socialize in fun and safe environment. You’ll learn valuable information about topics like Sleep\, Sensory Play\, Music\, etc and get to try an array of activities that your busy babe will love. The room will be set up with toys to keep your little ones entertained during our activities. You’ll get an informal opportunity to chat and connect with others\, building your village one week at a time while the babies make friends\, too! \nWe’ll meet every Wednesday afternoon from 1-2pm in the back studio of The Mama Movement\, which is located at 73 Weldon st in Moncton. This is an 8-week program designed for babies from 8 Months (Crawling) up to 18 months. \nIncluded in your $140 registration fee is: \n\nEight classes full of information\, bonding opportunities and connection\nA free professional picture of you and your baby\, taken by a local photographer\nA private Facebook group so that you can get to know your fellow moms better\nSome fun goodies from local and national partners.\n\nWhy  Mommy Connections Mini Movers? \nHere are some of our past participants’ favourite things about this one-of-a-kind program (and why we think you’ll love it too!): \n\nIt’s a great way – and reason – to get out of the house in the early months of parenthood\nThe environment is warm\, welcoming and inclusive \nIt provides a unique chance to discover baby-focused activities and try them ‘before you buy’\nIt’s designed for crawlers and walkers – there is no expectation of silence or stillness!  \nYou’ll make connections that will carry you through your mat leave and beyond\nThe expert information is tailored to the stage of parenting you’re at right now!\n\n“It takes a village to raise a child and thanks to Mommy Connections I have found my village.” \nFrequently Asked Questions \n Q: How old should my baby be when I register? \nA: This program is for crawlers and early walkers – we find it best suited to babies from about 6 to 18 months\, but this is a loose guideline.  \nIf your baby is younger\, check out our Mom & Baby program or newborn to 8 months. If they’re older we also offer a very popular Travelling Tots program for 1.5 to 4 years. \nQ: Can I attend just a few classes?\n\nA: Single sessions are not available. A huge focus of our program is community building\, which can only be created when a group is consistent from start to finish.  \nQ: Who runs the class? \nMy name is Jade and I am the director of Moncton Mommy Connections. I will be planning and organizing the sessions but my friend and your Facilitator Morgan will be running them. She is a new mom with a 1 year old baby just moving into this age group and will be there to learn and help you connect with each other. \nQ: How many moms are in each class? \nA: We aim to keep classes at or below 15 participants to foster a cozy\, community feel. \n  \nQ: When will I find out the schedule of topics/activities?  \nA: You will receive a schedule via email before your session begins.
