Is your baby on the move? We have a program for that!

The days of chatting with other parents while your baby naps may be over – but it doesn’t mean the fun has to stop!  Join our four week Mini Movers program taking place across Oakville.

This program is a great opportunity to learn, have fun and socialize with your crawler or early walker. We will sample four different parent & baby activities, such as music, arts and crafts, baby gymnastics, and more.

This four week program runs Tuesdays, January 18 to February 8, 2022. Classes will take place at various family-friendly venues across Oakville and Halton Region. The program costs $109+HST and runs from 1-2pm. It is best suited for mobile babies approx. 9-18 months and their caregivers.

Included in the fee is an awesome swag bag!

All participants will also be added to a private WhatsApp group chat for this class.

Each class will be limited to 10 participants in order to maintain physical distancing. Masks are mandatory for indoor programs. Unfortunately you will not be allowed to bring older siblings or other family members to the class. *Scroll below for more information about proof of vaccine requirement.

We will do our best to host classes in person, however we reserve the right to move classes to a virtual format or reschedule in the event of inclement weather, illness or further government restrictions. For our full cancellation policy, click here.

All participating adults will be required to show proof of full vaccination and photo ID while attending our Mini Movers program. Please note that Mommy Connections programs are held at various venues in the local community. Some of these venues will have a Proof of Vaccine Requirement, but some may not. Frequently Asked Questions

Q: How old should my baby be when I register?
A: This program is for crawlers and early walkers – we find it best suited to babies from about 9 to 18 months, but this is a loose guideline. If your baby is not mobile, our Mom & Baby program is for newborns to 9 months.

Q: How many participants are in each class?
A: Each class will be limited to 10 participants in order to maintain physical distancing and foster a cozy, community feel.

Q: Can I attend just a few classes?
A: Single sessions are not available. A huge focus of our program is community building, which can only be created when a group is consistent from start to finish.

Q: Are dads or other caregivers welcome?
A: Absolutely! Dads, grandparents, nannies; all types of caregivers are welcome to participate in our Mini Movers program, provided there is only one caregiver per baby.

Q: When will I find out the schedule of activities? Are the types of activities guaranteed?
A: You will receive a schedule via email before your session begins. We cannot guarantee that a particular type of class (like art or music) will be a part of any given session. Schedules change slightly from session to session and are subject to local experts’ availability. We can, however, promise you a great mix of things!
