Have a busy tot? Join us for six weeks of fun and discovery in our Travelling Tots Program in Red Deer and Sylvan Lake this fall!
Our popular Travelling Tots program provides toddlers (from 16 months to 4 years of age*) and their caregivers with a unique opportunity to play, explore, and make new friends in Red Deer and Sylvan Lake.
Each week, we travel to a new location to enjoy a different structured activity – from music and gymnastics to dance and martial arts.
All activities are led by a local business, giving you a unique opportunity to scope out and sample the activities available to you in South Edmonton.
We meet from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. every Friday. Start times may vary slightly.
This class is ideal for families with toddlers up to 4 years old. Moms, dads, grandparents, or any other caregiver are welcome to attend with their toddler.
The Details:
- Classes take place at various indoor locations in Red Deer and area.
- Starting on February 20 we’ll meet every Friday at 10:00 a.m. (for a total of 6 sessions) *start times may vary
- Once the activity portion of each class has finished, we’ll spend time connecting through conversation while our toddlers have a snack from home.
- All participants will be added to a private WhatsApp chat for this class.
Included in your $125 registration fee is:
- Six weeks of FUN with the same group of caregivers and tots
- A mini professional photo shoot and one complementary digital photo from your gallery
**Please note that a single registration (one toddler) includes attendance for one adult and one child. Not all of our locations or activities can accommodate extra adults. If you register for two toddlers, two adults are welcome to attend.
If at any point, we are no longer able to run our indoor program due to new health restrictions, the program will move online (Zoom). No credits or refunds will be given if this happens.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q: What if I’m home with a toddler AND a baby? Can my newborn tag along?
A: You bet! Babies are most welcome (at no extra cost), so long as they are comfortable in a bucket seat or baby carrier. Travelling Tots is a great, supportive way to get used to being out and about with both your toddler and newborn at once.
Q: What if I have two toddlers? Can I bring both of them?
A: Absolutely. Families with more than one tot in the program will save 50% off the second registration.
Q: My child is home with a nanny/caregiver. Can they attend together?
A: Yes! Tots may attend with any type of caregiver (parent, grandparent, nanny, etc.) so long as that person can make their way to our various class locations.
Q: When/how do I find out where the classes will be taking place?
A: You will receive a schedule via email, one week prior to our first class.
Q: Can I attend just a few classes?
A: Single sessions are not available. A huge focus of our program is community building, which can only be created when a group is consistent from start to finish.
Q: How many families are in each class?
A: This class may have up to 12 families.
Q: When will I find out the class schedule?
A: You will receive a schedule via email before your session begins.
Q: What is your cancellation policy?
A: Cancellation policy:
Refunds, less a $30 admin fee will be administered if the cancellation is more than 7 days before the start of the start of the program. Cancellations within 7 days of the start of the program will receive a credit. No refunds or credits are available once a program starts.
No credits or refunds will be given for missed classes.
Any pottery, art projects, keepsakes, crafts, or make-and-takes are to be picked up within 30 days of class completion. It is your responsibility to arrange to pick up your projects from your facilitator/presenter/location within 30 days. After 30 days, the project will be disposed of and no compensation or remake will be offered.
