Inspired Go Review

06/22/2023

I am a creature of habit when it comes to my food. I eat the same foods, regularly every week, and admittedly do not like to change things up. However, as a working Mom, with two school-aged children playing all the sports, it’s been a struggle to feed my family and me in a healthy, nourishing way. So when the chance arose to try Inspired Go, I jumped at the opportunity.

The idea is genius. Delicious, healthy salads (and other foods), with all the yummy fixings, super fresh, ready to go, delivered to your door. I love a good salad but struggle to make them on my own when the week is busy. So when I arrived home and found the reusable sealed bag with all my salads for the week, I was thrilled. Even the thought of not having to make my lunch for five days made me giddy. Their salads stay fresh in a fridge for up to five days, so I had one week’s worth of lunches made and not just any lunch but healthy lunches. I was inspired and very excited that I could eat good food and save myself some time.

The first day I brought an Inspired Go salad to work, I felt like the cool kid in the cafeteria. Some people were wondering what I was eating, some knew about Inspired Go, while others were impressed by the quality of the ingredients. I had one of their top salads on the website, the Superfood Salad, and absolutely loved it. From the fresh lettuce to edamame beans, to craisins, to feta cheese, sunflower seeds, hemp hearts, and toasted lentils, it was a divinely delicious salad! I try my best to eat healthy, but I felt so good after eating this salad that I just wanted more of it. I thought that would be the best one, but then I had Cheeky Tzatziki salad that night, followed the next day by the Twisted Cobb Salad, and then with the family we shared the Berrylicious Bliss and the Blueberry Boost Salad. If you think I got sick of salads, you are wrong. It seemed to just get better every day! I loved the variety of ingredients, the various tastes, and flavours, and even after five days, it still tasted just as fresh.

As a parent I don’t have any meal delivery services, they can often be pricey and out of reach for the average family; however, these salads and meals I would absolutely consider. The price point starts around $10 with a minimum order of $40, so around 4 salads. There is no subscription required, there are new recipes every week, and they deliver right to your door! I love the idea of having healthy meals like this on a regular basis and not having to spend much time prepping in order to eat healthy. Inspired Go delivers to many Canadian cities from British Columbia to Ontario, including Calgary and some smaller areas around the city. They also recently launched in Mississauga and Etobicoke in Ontario, so head to their website to see if you are in their delivery area. As a parent of a busy family and a Mom who wants to eat healthy, this is a fantastic idea that will help boost my health and save me time.
