Learn, have fun with your baby, and meet other new moms from Lethbridge and area in our Outdoor Mom & Baby Program this summer.
Our flagship Mom & Baby program offers new moms a unique opportunity to meet other moms, learn about local programs and services, and gather valuable parenting info – in a fun, low-pressure, inclusive environment.
Each week features a discussion or activity led by our facilitator or local expert on topics of childcare and medicine safety as baby grows, to activities of crafting with baby and mommy & me photos. Plus an informal opportunity to chat with others experiencing the same challenges, fears, and excitement as you are.
We meet from 11:00am to 12:30pm on Wednesdays at Henderson Lake in Lethbridge.
This class is ideal for moms with babies under 1 year.
The Details:
- Classes take place outdoors at Henderson Lake grass area
- Starting on July 8 we’ll meet every Wednesday at 11:00am
- For 30 -60 minutes of each class will include an activity or discussion by our local expert and we will also spend time connecting through conversation.
- All participants will be added to a private Facebook group and WhatsApp chat for this class.

Q. How old should my baby be when I join?
A. This program is ideal for moms with babies under 1 year.
Q: How many moms are in each class?
A: We aim to keep classes at or below 14 participants to foster a fun and energizing community feel.
Q: When will I find out the class schedule?
A: You will receive a schedule via email before your session begins.
Q: Do me and my baby have to be in photos posted online?
A: No, we are happy to ensure you or your baby’s face are not shown in any photos outside of the class. Our facilitators are always happy to cover any faces for those wishing to not be in photos posted online, just be sure to let your class facilitator know on the first day of class.
Q: What is your cancellation policy?
A: Cancellation policy:
Refunds, less a $30 admin fee will be administered if the cancellation is more than 7 days before the start of the start of the program. Cancellations within 7 days of the start of the program will receive a credit. No refunds are available once a program starts.
In the event of poor weather, we will reschedule the class or classes at the end of the session. If for any reason we are not able to reschedule, the missed class/classes will be held virtually via Zoom.
