Discover ‘n Grow Jumperoo

I am so happy with the Discover ‘n Grow Jumperoo!

A) The seat is quite deep and does a great job of supporting my son. He has had amazing head control since birth which is why my son has been using the jumper since he was 4 months old. He spends up to an hour in it just playing and bouncing away.

B) This Jumperoo is responsive to movement and the input the child puts in. I have a very active child so the more he moves the more he gets out of it and enjoys it! Not to mention the music is in sync with the movement created! He lights up and is all smiles when it’s “jumper” time!

C)The toys and bright colours continuously catch his attention. He loves the light-up keyboard/ music, and playing with the monkey, penguin, bee and bird. I also like how there are various stations on the jumper. When one gets less interesting he turns to another.
I do however find that when he turns from station to station his upper body will turn but his lower body won’t. I find myself moving his legs to match with his upper body.

D) There are different levels of height to be adjusted which means the Jumperoo will last for more than a few months! I have it on the lowest setting and he’s about 27 inches tall right now.

E) The Jumperoo was quite easy to assemble and will store nicely for future children as there is quality in the product!

Cons:

The sound on the piano component sometimes stops and sits on a very annoying buzzing sound until I turn it off and on again. My guess is that I got a defective one ????

Overall it is a great product and it has helped with his next developmental phase! I would recommend this product to future parents!

My Little Snugabunny Cradle and Swing

Thank you Mommy Connections for letting me review the My Little Snugabunny Cradle  Swing. I really like how the seat is deep and is quite secure for newborns. I think that my daughter is very comfortable in it. I really like the design and I like that it is neutral enough to match any room it is put in. The musical components are nice with this swing, and I like the way the swing moves. A few things that I do not really like are that the mobile toys are a little chunky, the swing motor is slightly loud and the swing was a little difficult to put together. Thanks again and I would definitely recommend this swing to my friends and family, as it has been great in a few months I’ve had it.

Thomas and Friends-All Around Sodor

Interactive Train Set

I absolutely am in love with this Thomas interactive train set! The buttons on Thomas are easy for little fingers to push, and the sounds and sayings from Thomas, are really fun for my son to listen to. One feature that I like, is that the train is reasonably paced for an 11 month old and fast enough for my four and a half-year-old to enjoy as well! This train set is targeted for an older child and they do really love it! Its great that younger children can appreciate the sounds and movements too! It’s always great when kids can play together! I would recommend this toy for families with one child, as well as for families with multiple children.

Little People-Fun Sounds Farm

The Little People farm has been quite fun to review with my son. The biggest difference I’ve noticed from modern “little people” as opposed to the little people I had as a child, are size and design. The little people are quite detailed and the size is nice for little hands. The animals are cute and I like the sounds this toy produces. I find that the sounds are realistic enough to help children learn associations with animals. I would like if this toy came with more people and animals, as it is something that can be used for several years. I am not sure of the price for additional pieces, or if this option is available for this toy?

I would recommend this toy as it is fun for little kids and the sounds really aid in the learning experiences while playing.

Laugh & Learn-Love to Play Puppy

Laugh & Learn™ Love to Play Puppy- My daughter who’s 16 months absolutely loves this toy. She loves to dance, so every time the puppy plays music she boogies along to it. She loves certain songs and figured out quickly which button plays them. This is a toy both child and parents can love because it’s fun and more importantly educational.
Pros: educational, fun, colors grab babies attention, fun songs
Cons: goes off on it’s own without being touched (especially at night), the off button should be located elsewhere.
