A Successful First Session!

On Monday, June 2nd, we at Mommy Connections, Sherwood Park, underwent our first session of the Special June Program. We were able to hear from three amazing, independent business persons and participate in their fun, interactive demos, all while soaking in the rays at a local park!

We and sang and danced with Toadstool Music Studio. Toadstool is a music studio that believes in building confidence and self-esteem through the journey of learning music. It is clear that this is their honest mission as the owner, Nicole, is a vibrant, encouraging leader and teacher! Toadstool Music Studios offers classes that suitable for all ages, ‘from babies to grandparents.’  They are also offering classes in Fort Saskatchewan, starting September 2014! Registration for both locations is a first come, first served basis and so classes fill quickly; if music interests you and/or your child and you missed the demo at Mommy Connections, no need to worry! We also learned all about teeth with Dr. Glen Jefferies, from Parkstone Dental! Dr. Jefferies gave us lots of useful information about maintaining our teeth, and our children’s teeth, but this information was delivered in a manner that was fun, engaging, and exciting. Dr. Jefferies even had an interactive game for the toddlers who were present, and gifts for all Mom’s and toddlers alike! If you’re looking for a new family dentist, I can say confidently that Dr. Jefferies is a ‘safe gamble!’ If you missed Dr. Glen Jefferies this week, there’s no need to worry – he’ll be back for the evening group (5:30-7pm) on June 23rd at Forrest Park (589 Forrest Dr.)!

Last, but certainly not least, we played with Crystal Skelton. Crystal independently sells Discovery Toys. This was made fact by watching the kids argue Mom and Crystal when it came time to leave! Great toys, and an even greater sales-woman, made for a great presentation! Don’t worry because you missed this exciting demo with Crystal.. Crystal will be back next week (June 9th) for a demo with the morning group (10-11:30am at Summerwood, 1-11 Wynd Summerfield)!!
