Emerald Medical Clinic and WellMed Clinic – Convenient? We think so!

Walk-in, that’s right, no appointment necessary! We love that, because sometimes there just isn’t enough time to make an appointment. And, a pager system!  Yes you read correctly, You can shop while you wait! Great for moms who have busy schedules!

As you can tell… we’ve been checking out Emerald Medical Clinic at 7000 Emerald Dr, Sherwood Park (inside Walmart) and WellMed Clinic (inside Walmart Supercentre) at 775 Tamarack, Way NW, Edmonton, and yes, we are IMPRESSED!

The clinics are both open 7 days a week, with 2 full time Doctors on weekdays and 1 weekend Doctor. Many of the staff have been with the clinic for over 8 years! They offer an array of services such as:

Referrals, Basic Diagnostics, Driver’s Medicals, FULL Check-Ups, Sports Medicals, Lab and DI Requisitions. Both clinics can provide all services similar to that a Family Physicians Office. They are currently accepting new patients at both clinics and you are welcome to transfer medical records from previous clinics.

And, there’s more… the staff at both locations do their best to maintain low wait times! (Under a half hour! Impressive right?). They understand that our time is valuable.
