Learn, have fun with your baby, and meet other new moms in York Region! 

Our flagship Mom & Baby program offers new moms a unique opportunity to meet other moms, learn about local programs and services, and gather valuable parenting info – in a fun,  low-pressure, inclusive environment.

Each week features a discussion led by a local expert on topics ranging from sleep to introducing solids to baby massage.  We also try fun and interactive activities for mom and baby – like yoga, sign language, or music.  There’s also always an informal opportunity to chat with others experiencing the same challenges, fears and excitement as you are.

The session runs for 8 weeks – every Tuesday 10:00-11:00 am from April 2nd to May 21st, 2024.  Classes take place at the WOMB Vaughan, located at 545 N Rivermede Rd Unit #105, Concord, ON L4K 4H1

This class is ideal for moms and their babies, 0-8 months.  The cost is only $199+HST.

All participants will be added to a private WhatsApp chat for this class.

Each class will be limited to 12 moms in order to foster group discussion as well as maintain physical distancing.

We will do our best to host the classes in person, however we reserve the right to move classes to a virtual format in the event of illness or further government restrictions. For our full cancellation policy, click here.

Frequently Asked Questions

 

Q: How old should my baby be when I register?

 

A: The ideal time to do this program is when your baby is between 0-8 months, but our guidelines are flexible.  If you’re baby is older than 8 months, please check out our Mini Movers program.

 

Q: Can I attend just a few classes?

A: Single sessions are not available. A huge focus of our program is community building, which can only be created when a group is consistent from start to finish.

 

Q: How many moms are in each class?

 

A: We aim to keep classes at or below 12 participants to foster a cozy, community feel.

Q: When will I find out the schedule of topics/activities? Are the classes types/activities guaranteed?

 

A: You will receive a schedule via email before your session begins. A sample schedule is available above.  We cannot guarantee that a particular type of class (like CPR, yoga, or music) will be a part of any given session. Class topics change slightly from session to session and are subject to local experts’ availability. We can, however, promise you a great mix of things!

 

Q: What is your cancellation policy?

 

A: Please note, registration cancellations are subject to a $30 administration fee, view our full cancellation policy here. A minimum of 8 participants are needed in order to run this class. In the event that we need to cancel due to low registration, you will receive a full refund.
