We are a group of mostly first time mothers. We don’t know everything and some days we feel like we don’t know anything. Each one of us has a different style of parenting. None of our children are exactly alike. And our cultures/beliefs are all unique. But the one thing we do share is the deep love we have for our children.
This Valentine’s Day, our Mom & Baby groups wanted to share a special Valentine’s message for mothers. After reading a post from HerScoop called ‘Stop The Mommy Wars,’ we too wanted to show our support for mom’s everywhere.
So this is our Valentine’s love letter to you. Mom to Mom. We are learning as we go. We make mistakes. We ask a lot of questions. We feel confident one day and not very much the next. After all nobody said being a mother was easy. But we do know that if we support each other a little more, help each other out, listen to each other and love each other, it just might make this motherhood journey that much better.
Take a moment to look at our photos. Read the words. Look into each and everyone of our faces and know that we support you. We are cheering for you. We are behind you all the way. And when you hit a roadblock or a challenge, when someone questions your judgement or your parenting style, remember this isn’t about anyone else. It’s about you. Doing it your way. Doing it with love. The rest will take care of itself.
