Mommy Connections Summer Programs 2017

After a long and chilly winter, we are ready for a sunny, warm summer full of fun adventures with Mommy Connections! This summer we will be offering our outdoor activity based programs for Mom & Baby as well as Mom & Toddler! Lots of fun outdoor classes with plenty to see and do! And bonus this year, due to popular demand, we’ll be running our programs for 8 WEEKS instead of our usual 6 WEEKS! Registration for our summer programs begins on: Friday May 12th, 2017 so make sure you get your spot early!

Here’s what we’ll be offering this summer:

Mom & Baby Programs:

Tuesday July 4th – August 22nd
10:30 – 11:30

Wednesdays July 5th – August 23rd
10:30 – 11:30

Thursdays July 6th – August 24th
10:30 – 11:30

During the summer we move away from our regular programs and head outside for all our classes (weather permitting). Our program will offer a mix of weekly activities for Moms and activities for babies. When we are able to be outside, we will always be outside. And when the weather is poor, we will move indoors.

The classes will run 8 weeks long and will have the same group of Moms for 8 weeks. This class allows babies from birth to 12 months of age. We will be offering a Mom & Baby program on Tuesdays, one on Wednesdays and one on Thursdays in every quadrant of the city (SE, SW & NW).

The locations will be outdoors near the following:

S.E. – Outdoors near Midsun Community Association
S.W. – Outdoors near North Glenmore Park Community Association
N.W. – Outdoors near Dalhousie Community Association

During the 8 weeks you can expect the following types of activities (Based on area & availability):

* Mom & Baby Splash Pad Party
* Stampede Theme Party & Play
* Lake Walk/Strollercize
* Music in the Park
* Mom & Baby Outdoor Garden Craft
* Zumba with Baby
* Baby Sign Language
* Mom & Baby Pilates/Yoga
* Baby Outdoor Based Sensory Play
* Baby Massage
* Mom & Baby Dance
* Baby Rhyme Time

Cost: $120 per Mom & Baby

Travelling Tot Programs:

Tuesdays July 4th – August 22nd
10:00 – 11:00
Ages 1-2

Wednesdays July 5th – August 23rd
10:00 – 11:00
Ages 2-3

Every week for 8 weeks we’ll go somewhere new and try a new activity. All activities will be within the quadrant of the city you sign up for (S.E., S.W., N.W.) with the exception of one or two classes that may be out of this area. It is the same group of Moms for 8 weeks and we’ll do a variety of activities, going to different locations and trying new activities (fishing), to meeting up at a different playground every week for a new activity and to play with just the group!

During the 8 weeks, you can expect the following types of activities (Based on area and availability):

* Toddler Fishing & Exploration
* Outdoor Painting (Rocks) & Nature Exploration
* Toddler Dance Class
* Stampede Themed Party & Play
* Farm Animal Visit
* U-Pick Berry Farm Visit
* Spruce Meadows Visit
* Mom & Baby Splash Pad Party
* Music In The Park
* Outdoor Soccer Lesson
* Making Ice Cream
* Scavenger Hunt
* Puppet Show & Nature Walk

Cost: $120 per Mom & Child (Babies under a year are free). To bring a second sibling over a year of age is $180 (the second child is half price).
