Excited to jump back into movement after giving birth but feeling unsure about the right starting point? We’re here to help you get going! Meet other moms in Midtown Toronto, while trying a new fitness class each week.

 

Mama Moves is a fitness class designed for your postpartum body. It’s a safe and fun way to get moving post-pregnancy in the same warm and inclusive environment as our other programs – with babe in tow (of course).

Our Mama Moves program offers 5 weeks of different fitness classes with the 6th week being a class Photo Day with a professional photographer. From Mom and Baby Yoga to Strength Training, Carrier Dance Cardio and even Mom & Baby Fight Club* – our agenda is designed especially for new moms looking to get more active and ease you back into a fitness routine.

 

*Please note that not all classes are covered each session, these are examples. Please see session agenda below. 

 

Best of all — you bring your baby to this class! We offer a fun and low-pressure way to get out of the house, socialize, and see what’s possible for you in the way of postpartum fitness options.

 

We meet from 10AM – 11PM on Tuesdays starting June 9 – July 14 at various locations around Midtown Toronto. Each fitness class is 45 minutes followed by 15 minutes to informally socialize with the group.

To get the most out of the workout, this class is designed with non-walking babies in mind and is best suited to moms who are between 6 weeks and 9 months postpartum.

 

Your registration fee includes:

  • Five fitness classes led by local experts; all of which are appropriate for all fitness levels
  • Class wrap up and Photo Day on the last day, get photos of your and your mini by a local professional photographer.
  • One digital photo of your choosing included with your registration (others may be purchased from the photographer directly for a special Mommy Connections rate)

 

Why Mama Moves?

Mama Moves is a fun, low-pressure way for new moms (who have been cleared for moderate exercise) to ease back into a fitness routine. All of our instructors are trained to work with postpartum women and understand how to protect your abdominals and pelvic floor.

While some classes are more intense and others more relaxing, all of them offer options and modifications to accommodate all fitness levels.

Our hope is that you’ll come as you are, move with us to the best of your abilities, and discover what you love!

 

This 6 week program  runs Tuesdays June 9 – July 14,  2026 and costs $179+hst. It runs from 10:00AM-11:00AM and is best suited for babies 6 weeks – 9 months by the first class.

All participants will be added to a private WhatsApp chat for this class.

 

Each class will be limited to 12 participants (plus 1-2 facilitators). Unfortunately you will not be allowed to bring siblings or other family members to classes with you.
