Quick, Affordable, and Delish: Ready-Made Salads from Inspired Go

As a busy mom of two small kids working full-time, I’m always looking for quick and healthy lunch options for myself.

Fall is jam-packed with my youngest’s birthday, Thanksgiving and Halloween. It’s also one of the busiest times of our community calendar with Fall classes launching, holiday season and new year prep.

I tried six different salads from Inspired Go, all vegetarian options since I’m a life-long vegetarian. They were:

I loved all the vegetarian options! In fact I found the menu was incredibly robust for all types of diets, from carnivores to plant-based, allergy-friendly, etc.

By far my favourite salad, and the one I found most filling, was the Autumn Harvest Salad — sweet and savoury. I was a little disappointed with the Cheeky Tzatziki. I love chickpeas and feta but found I was still a little hungry after that meal.

The final thing that impressed me was that the sealed salads kept fresh all week. In order to avoid the shipping fee (for orders under $65 in my area) I had to order 6 salads. I was concerned the last few would need to be tossed, but they were still crispy.

There is no denying the ease of grabbing a fresh, healthy, and tasty meal in the midst of a busy day. I loved how I felt with no effort I was doing something to take care of myself—nourishing from within.
