Meet other moms in Downtown Oakville while learning and having fun with your baby! 

Our flagship Mom & Baby program offers new moms a unique opportunity to meet others, gather valuable parenting info, and learn about local programs and services – in a fun, low-pressure, social and inclusive environment.

Each week features either a discussion led by a local expert on topics ranging from baby sleep to introducing solids to baby massage, or a fun and interactive activity for mom and baby – like yoga or music.  There’s also always an informal opportunity to chat with others experiencing the same challenges, fears and excitement as you are.

This seven week program runs every Tuesday afternoon, 1-2:30pm from June 2 to July 14, 2026. We will meet indoors at Two Sisters Pilates, 221 Lakeshore Rd E Unit 201, in Downtown Oakville. PLEASE NOTE! This studio is not stroller accessible – there are stairs at the entry to the studio. Those requiring a fully accessible location should look at our West Oakville or Glen Abbey classes.

This class is ideal for moms and their non-mobile babies, aged newborn to approx. 8 months.  The cost is $205+HST.

Included in your registration fee is:

  • Seven 90-min classes – each class full of valuable information, connection, and bonding opportunities
  • A private WhatsApp group chat – to stay connected outside of class time

This class will be limited to 12 moms. Due to the nature of the class environment, you will not be allowed to bring older siblings to the class.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: How old should my baby be when I register?
A: The ideal time to start this program is when your baby is between six-weeks and six-months-old. That said, we welcome moms of newborns so long as your health care provider has cleared you for moderate exercise. We also welcome ‘older’ babies up to nine months that aren’t mobile yet.

Q: Can I attend just a few classes?
A: Single sessions are not available. A huge focus of our program is community building, which can only be created when a group is consistent from start to finish.

Q: How many moms are in each class?
A: Each class will be limited to 12 moms in order to foster a cozy, community feel.

Q: I’m a second-time mom, not a “new” mom. Can I still join?
A: Absolutely! Our classes are typically a mix of first-, second-, and third-time moms. We use the term “new mom” to describe newly postpartum.

Q: When will I find out the final schedule of topics/activities?
A: You will receive a final schedule via email before your session begins. We cannot guarantee that a particular type of class (like yoga or music) will be a part of any given session. Class topics change slightly from program to program and are subject to local experts’ availability. We can, however, promise you a great mix of things!
