Baby’s first year is full of excitement, not to mention celebrating baby’s 1st Halloween. Halloween doesn’t have to be about haunted houses, candy and all things scary; for baby it’s about creating memories and traditions. We got into the Halloween spirit today with a costume party, a Duplo building event (#DUPLOpumpkin), a Halloween craft and of course treats!

 *************** Red Deer Halloween Events ***************

If door to door Trick or Treating isn’t for your baby this year you can be sure there are lots of other activities to enjoy with your baby and family. Here is what is happening in Red Deer:

The Medieval Fair

The Collicutt Centre and the City of Red Deer, together with Crossroads and Word of Life churches, are hosting this annual/awesome/amazing family event on October 31!! Plenty of fun for kids of all ages – bouncers, swimming, music, bungee run, skyball, velcro wall, bumper balls and much much more until 9:00pm.
(Please note that Preschool Park, gymnastics and skating are open until 8:00pm.)
Candy bags for the first 1000 kids (2-12 years).
Family-friendly costumes only please.

Halloween Family Night

On the spooky night of October 29th, join that Alberta Sports Hall of Fame and Museum in some fun Halloween games and thrills. All ages welcome.
Family rate of $10 for up to 6 individuals.
Costumes welcome!

Daytime Pumpkin Hunt

Enjoy the sights and smells of Autumn as you make your way down to Heritage Ranch’s Pumpkin Patch. Great for the family with little ones! Hot chocolate and popcorn is provided for your tractor ride to the patch to search out your pumpkin!

Halloween Trick or Treat at Bower Place

Where else can you hit up 115 trick or treat locations without stepping outside? Visit participating retailers from 5:00Pm – 7:00PM, in your best costume, for some fun and delicious trick or treating. Get your photos taken at Center Court from 4:00PM – 7:00PM.
