Infant CPR Workshops – Newmarket & Aurora for Summer 2018

Join Mommy Connections York Region North and HeartBeatz CPR for a Baby/Child CPR & First Aid training workshop! This informative course consists of instruction following Heart and Stroke standards, runs approximately 2 hours in length and finishes when participants feel confident with their CPR & First aid skills. Please note: This is a not a certification course.

The Baby/Child CPR & First Aid workshop includes:

-baby/child CPR
-choking emergencies and common potential choking hazards for children & infants
-crib safety and car seat safety
-severe allergies – what to look for and what to avoid
-treating falls – signs & symptoms for concussions
-fevers and febrile seizures
-accessing EMS – 911
-question/answer first aid session

The class takes place on Sunday June 24th from 3 to 5 pm at the Newmarket Public Library, 438 Park Ave, Newmarket in the Multi-Purpose Room.
Other classes will be held on Tuesday July 17th from 7-9 pm and Tuesday Aug 14th from 7-9 pm.  To register of for more information visit our website.

Babies are welcome, but you may find it easier to concentrate if you’re able to make alternate arrangements for child care.
