Best Summer Pinterest Ideas

I am soooooooo excited for summer this year. I am every year really, but this year I will have a two year old, who can paint, play, run, jump and enjoy the sunshine. Last year we played outside, but now she is really old enough for activities and doing special little things. So because I’m sick of this snow I’m sharing my top 5 Summer ideas from Pinterest.

1. Sidewalk chalk paint. Sure go ahead; I dare you to get messy painting on the sidewalk. That’s what hoses are for!

2.  Glow In The Dark Bowling. Ummmm…. I will probably also be playing this after she goes to bed!

3. Sponge Bombs. These I think will be great for keeping cool, teaching colors if you do them in single colors instead of multi like these and you could probably make it into a toss game too.

4. Bubbles, make your own bubble mix. My daughter adorable bubbles; what kid doesn’t right? We will be making lots of bubbles in the backyard this summer for sure!

Additional to this point here is a cute idea for painting with bubbles. Sorry the link I have on Pinterest for it doesn’t work though!

5. “Drive In” Movie theater in the backyard. This….. is….. just…. awesome.  The pin says to let them decorate their boxes with stickers or crayons as ana activity first. Probably let them do it until its dark enough to watch is a good idea too. (Sorry the pin has no link to it either)
