Our Home Buying Experience

We recently purchased a home in Beaumont. We had the help of two real estate agents who are partnered together. This was fantastic in the way that there was almost always someone available when we had any questions and when it was convenient for us to view houses.

They took into concern what was important to us while we were searching, paying attention to all the details that we were too excited (about buying another home) to see. We were looking at the big things and missing the little things that would become important later. Such as houses with no pantry, limited storage or spaces that couldn’t be baby proofed, very important to a family with two small babies!

After searching for a while, we finally found the perfect house for our family. It is specious enough for our growing family and has lots of character.

Penny and Karen walked us through the entire purchase process, contracts, lawyers, inspectors, etc. and were available with answers to all of our questions. They used their expertise to guide us through the purchase contract and make sure everything worked out well for us. And thank goodness they did!

We ran into problems with the house only a month after purchasing it. We found water damage that was never reported on the home inspection, an inspection that we wouldn’t have even gotten if it weren’t for them.

Now, not only could someone be held liable for missing this, but also they paid for the repair costs, and Karen brought over her own personal Hepa Filter to make sure our babies weren’t breathing in any contaminated air!

She helped us through the entire process of communicating with the inspector to get this repaired and never once judged us or took sides. She answered all of the questions she could, and found answers she for the ones she couldn’t. She kept us calm, was very personable and professional.

We can’t thank Penny & Karen enough for all the time and effort they allotted to us. We will definitely be calling them for our next real estate purchase!
