Depending how old your kids are, a visit to the movie theatre can be just the escape you need. Leduc Cinemas has daily early and late afternoon matinees and almost always has a kids movie playing. Their prices are much more affordable than the larger theatres. If you need to hit up a movie in Edmonton, there are usually plenty of showtime options for kids movies. You could always check out Stars and Strollers at Cineplex, where prices are cheaper, lights are brighter, and the sound is lower. They also have a diaper-changing station set up outside the theatre too. I found these were best when my daughter was just a baby and would sleep through the movie.
Hopefully our top five list of drop-in activities for children in Leduc and Beaumont will come in handy this fall and beyond as you look to fill your week with fun!
