Power Wheels® Barbie™ Lil’ Quad™

Wow! This was a super fun “toy” to review! As soon as this sporty little ATV arrived on our doorstep my daughter was super excited and couldn’t wait to open it (and so was I!) At 2 1/2 this is her first “motorized ride-on” vehicle and she loves it!

We didn’t wait to open it! And thank goodness because we only got 2 days of dry ground to use it before the snow flew! It came pretty pre-built, aside from putting on the wheels and handle bar, which was very easy to assemble. There are cool Barbie stickers that also had to be added. The ATV has built-in footrests and a cute cargo rack on the back!

This Lil’ Quad is designed especially for toddlers, with easy push-button operation for simple stop and go, 6-volts of battery power, and a Power Lock brake system for a safe but exciting ride. Watching my 2 1/2 year old learn how to drive it on her own was hilarious! But she figured it out quickly. I recommend having your video camera handy when your little one first gets on this quad. If I could add the video of my daughter’s “stop & go” learning, I would! I still laugh every time I watch it! My 1 year son also hopped on, he pushed it with his feet which was very fun for him, but he also got the hang of the push-button operation very fast!

While it is recommended for outdoor use only, we use on the carpet it in my daughters bedroom occasionally. We can’t wait for the spring though so we can get back outdoors with it! This Lil’ Quad goes 2mph, both of the back tires spin when you push the button on the handle, they are hard plastic tires, so i would definitely only recommend it for smooth surfaces, such as pavement and grass.

Upon reading some other reviews, it appears this quad holds it’s value well. It seems to last years and through multiple children.
