I feel like I know Lethbridge pretty well, and still I will find local resources that pleasantly surprise me – maybe some of these will be pleasant surprises for you!

Lethbridge has quite a large amount of outdoor activities available for locals to take advantage of! From the expected playgrounds (we have a whopping 113 of them) to fruit trees (yes, for real fruit trees), Lethbridge has so much to offer for outdoor fun!

Have a little one who enjoys climbing, swinging, and sliding? Lethbridge has over 100 local playgrounds of varying abilities and amenities! Do you prefer a nice walk, long or short, and want to find a new place to stroll, read up on local pathways and take a snoop through an interactive pathway map HERE

Want your walk to include adorable turtles? Our river valley includes a very special trail that includes a whole little community of turtles! Elizabeth Hall Wetlands is home to a large variety of wild animals, and you are almost guaranteed to spot turtles during our warmer months. Find information on the wetlands HERE

Maybe for those nice and hot days you would prefer waterplay, information on local spray parks can be found HERE (did you know we are getting a new, amazing looking spray park? YEAH WE ARE!!)

Are you one of the lucky ones who already knew that we have fruit trees around Lethbridge? I heard a rumor that we had them, but did not know just how many we have or where – they are spread out all over the city and include cherry trees, apple trees, and even pear trees!!
