A Message from London‘s Chapter Director
Hi, I’m Shelby! I became a mom for the first time in 2021, right in the middle of the Covid-19 pandemic. As the first of my friends to have a baby, I quickly realized how important it was to find a community of like-minded moms who could relate to what I was going through. That’s when I found Mommy Connections and signed up in Fall 2021. I was craving connections outside my two-bedroom apartment, and I found exactly what I needed — friendships built on shared experiences.
Through Mommy Connections, I met incredible women who became my walking buddies, coffee date partners, and playdate pals. Over the past few years, I’ve been blessed to grow my family with two beautiful daughters. My family and I enjoy spending time outdoors exploring nature, crafting, baking, or curling up with a good book.
Outside of my role as a mom, I work as a Therapeutic Recreation Aide at St. Joseph’s in London, where I’m able to help others through recreation and therapeutic activities. My passion lies in creating connections through shared interests and life stages, and I’m thrilled to be able to do that with all of you here at Mommy Connections London.
