My story is not new, and has been told by many parents before. The idea for this business came after starting my first child on solid foods. I went out looking for fresh, organic baby food and was disappointed with what I found on store shelves. I realized that in order to feed my son foods that were healthy and full of flavour, the only real option I had was to make it myself. Now, I love to cook and enjoyed trying out different recipes with unique ingredients, but there were definitely days that I would’ve rather been spending time with my son than slaving over a blender!

I believe that every child deserves the freshest food possible, and that every parent feels the same way. I’ve heard from many moms that resort to making their own baby food because the store-bought options just aren’t good enough. Parents shouldn’t have to compromise on quality for the sake of convenience, especially for the most important member of the family. So I started a small company that makes baby food just like you would in your own kitchen – baked, blended, frozen and ALWAYS 100% organic.

We use the highest quality ingredients, which we buy locally when in season, and prepare them in small batches in our certified organic kitchen. We cook and blend our recipes without any additives, preservatives, sugar or salt (never, ever!) and flash freeze each portion to maintain the brightest colour, freshest flavour and highest level of nutrients possible.

We work with a Registered Dietitian who has helped us select unique ingredients for our recipes that you won’t find in other baby foods – things like flaxseed, quinoa and basil just to name a few. Our 8+ month blends include flavours like Carrot, Apple & Ginger and Sweet Potato, Pear and Chick Pea which has a dash of cinnamon to make it delicious enough for mom and dad to enjoy!
