2008 was an amazing year for me, I had my first child and I was enjoying every stage of her growth and development. Looking back at my Christmas wish list for that year I wish I had known about some of the amazing services that would have helped me with my new baby. Here is my revised Christmas wish list that I thought I would share with you.
Sleep. Did you know that a Postpartum Doula will come to your house and care for your baby while you get some much needed sleep? Check out Precious Moments Babeez for more information.
Getting back into shape. Check out Fit Family. Belly Boot Camp is the benefit of a personal trainer in a group setting.
Communicating with baby. Wouldn’t it be nice to know what your infant wants from you before they can speak? Take a class with My Smart Hands and you can learn signs that will help you and baby communicate with each other.
Mummy Tummy. Ab rehab and getting rid of the Mummy Tummy is a tough go. Core Expectations can teach techniques to strengthen and tighten the abdominals.
Baby/Child First Aid and CPR workshop. When your baby starts solid foods it can be a scary time for parents. Having First Aid and CPR skills can put a parents mind at ease. This workshop is specially designed by ERT for new parents, grandparents, family members & caregivers.
Socializing with baby. Moms need to get out of the house and not just to shop for groceries. Mommy Connections gives Moms a social environment with an educational element. Moms can meet other Moms and learn about products and services that are available to them in their community.
