Palmer’s Cocoa Butter

When you find out you are expecting a baby, your entire life is forever changed. The pure joy and excitement along with apprehension and the fear of unknown really set in quickly. So much to think about. So many changes.

When I first met Brandi, owner of UC Baby, Sydney, Nova Scotia, we were excited to support each others businesses and our love for all that is baby. When Brandi told me she was expecting her very first baby, I was so happy for her. We got to chatting about those many changes during pregnancy and that’s where Palmers Cocoa Butter Formula comes in. What a great product for expecting and post partum moms. Here is what Brandi had to say:

My name is Brandi MacIsaac and I was very excited to sample three wonderful palmers products for the prevention and treatment of stretch marks. At the moment, I am 16 weeks pregnant. I own and operate UC Baby in Sydney NS where I do 3D ultrasound scans for expecting mothers and their families. It is a wonderful and rewarding job but also gave me lots of ‘Baby fever.’ My husband and I decided it was time to start trying for our own family and in September we found out we were pregnant! We also have two dog daughters we love just as much as if they were our children. So back to my review.. I received three beautifully packaged creams by palmers in the mail. The massage cream concentrate, body lotion and tummy butter. I am only 16 weeks and don’t have any stretch marks yet I am really hoping this helps prevent them or minimize them (if they do want to make an appearance). I have been using it for about two weeks now and I absolutely love each product. I love the texture and the scent of the creams. I have been using the body lotion two to three times a day all over my body. The smell of all the creams is amazing! This cream rubs into my skin quickly and leaves my skin feeling silky soft. I use the cream concentrate on specific areas such as my belly, breasts and hips two times a day. This cream is a little thicker then the body lotion and is very moisturizing. Finally is the body butter. At first I thought it was difficult to work with just because it’s a bit difficult to get out of the jar. But I do love it. I can tell by the consistency that this cream would probably help the best to prevent stretch marks. I use it daily, usually after a shower to problem areas. Overall, I am extremely happy with all products. My skin already feels smoother and more hydrated and everyone is always saying how nice I smell. Being in the baby business I will definitely be recommending these Palmers products to my expecting moms!
