Fisher Price Little People Animal Sounds Farm

My First product that I will be reviewing is the Fisher Price Little People Animal Sounds Farm.  First off I love all of the Little People products from Fisher Price and so does my daughter.  My daughter is two years old and loves animals so this product is perfect for her.  She can sit and play with the farm house, exploring all the exciting features and noises.  Some of the features are:

• A new, taller barn and silo make it easy for them to sit OR stand to play

• Farmer Eddie and his animals provide lots of interesting things to do

• Barn doors open with a ‘moo’ or a ‘neigh’ and all-new songs that open a child’s imagination to life on the farm

• Features upbeat day songs or slower night songs

• Includes Eddie, a horse, cow, sheep and the chicken in her nest, plus the hay bale and 4 great fence pieces to create a whole big corral for the animals!

Plus it’s a wide age range – 1½ – 4 years for only $49.99

These images are of my daughter (2 years old) and my niece (4 years old) playing with the farm house. We just set it up that morning (which was very easy) and they played with it on and off for the entire day.  Its always a bit of a battle for toddlers to play together which “sharing” isn’t exactly their strong suit but this product allows for more than one child to play with it and avoid the screaming matches.  My daughter would sit and play with the house while her cousin played with the animals – it worked out great!!!

Now I know toys with sound sometimes isn’t the most desirable but this one isn’t too loud or annoying.  It has nice tunes that the kids enjoyed and isn’t going off every time they touched it or walked by it which happens with a lot of other products.

Storage for this toy is fine because it’s not too big – you can just toss it in a corner and it’s out of the way not taking up too much space.  It’s not collapsible or folding so you can’t put it in your toy bin but isn’t too big that it sticks out in your living room.

Another bonus is that it’s light and easily transportable so if your little one loves it you can bring it to Grandma and Grandpa’s house! Or you can just bring the little people animals instead of the entire product.

Overall I’d say this is a great product by Fisher Price.  If you have a kid’s birthday party coming up check this one out, it’s a great gift idea!
