Kidville Media Event
Over the weekend my family and I were lucky enough to participate in an exclusive media event for the Grand Opening of Kidville.
We were greeted at the door with Complimentary Valet Parking, then appetizers and drinks for the little ones. Already we were liking Kidville and we hadn’t even step inside.
As we entered my daughter immediately bolted for the balloon animals. She was lucky enough to get two balloons, a fishing rod with a fish and a flower – I think my husband adopted the fishing rod.
Right after she was done with the balloons (so 5 mins later), she entered the “exhaust your kids out so they have a 3 hour nap room”, (as I like to call it). Kidville had trampolines, a rock climbing wall, climbing apparatus’, climbing bars and lots of space to run around. A great workout for your kids and tons of fun.
Another room had a music class going on but unfortunately we couldn’t drag her out of the big room for it but she caught the very end of the performance and watched with amazement from outside the door. Kidville’s music performance was fantastic. It was almost like a real band with signing and dance with a very big space for kids to join in.
Next we headed upstairs, yes that’s right upstairs! They have two floors at Kidville, they’re space is very big with lots of options for your little ones. Upstairs the first room we entered was the arts and craft room. My daughter loves arts and crafts so she was thrilled to participate in some of the activities they had set up. Finger paints, stamps, glue, little sinks to wash her hands (she really enjoyed that), lots of fine and gross motor activities.
Oh I forgot to mention the face painting they had, where lovely children sat quietly to get their face painted – it was actually quite amazing to see the patience that kids can have.
Next we were on to the Gymnasium. This room really is what I called it – a Gym. They have mini basketball nets set up, push toys, balance beams, a rug for the little guys with toys and lots of balls, etc. So if you thought your child was going to get tired from the room downstairs, where there is another option! She enjoyed this space as well because there was lots of room to run and play with balls and other toys. A good introduction to school gym I thought.
Oh you think I’m done do you? Nope there was another room, this room is THE WIGGLE ROOM!!!
This room is excellent for families with multiple children. They have baby activities as well as toddler activities. So you can leave your toddler with the lovely instructors to do an activity and play with your baby on the mat with lots of age appropriate toys. They have classes specifically designed for moms/dads with an infant and toddler, this is great for me as I have a 3 month old boy and a 2 year old girl!
Kidville is the place to be! We had a great time at this event, were treated like royalty, friendly staff, lots of entertainment, and best of all my kids loved it! A great space for families.
