Who doesn’t love Video Monitors!!! I don’t know how our parents survived with no video monitors. My children are 4 and 2 and we STILL use them in the house. Babies crying during the night and you don’t want to get out of bed, just look at the monitor. Cooking in the kitchen and want to check on the little one? Just look at the monitor! Watching a movie in the basement but you can’t hear the kids, just look at the monitor!! So many ways to utilize the video monitors but also so many monitors. PACKAGING/UNPACKING

• Clearly labeled and visible for you to see what all the products are
• Easy to unpack with minimal waste
• Husband and daughter were able to unpack within 5 mins
• No scissors required
• Twist ties easily removed by daughter

CHARGING

• Sticky pads could be added to bottom of the charger so it doesn’t slide all over the place or get knocked down my your kid(s)
•

• Easy set up when wanting to charge the monitor

INSTRUCTIONS

• Need to read the instructions to install the product and you need a phone/tablet for installation but nothing too advanced

*my husband and daughter reading the instructions, I know my husband is reading the instructions and I captured this moment!!! Oh and my daughter isn’t picking her nose in this photo, although she does from time to time:)

• When searching in android playstore for summer link wifi (which is what you are supposed to look for) two apps made by summer infant show up, summer link and internet baby monitor. Both seems like they could do the job. Should be clearly marked which app to download
• We matched the icon picture in the instructions to the app to determine which one to use but weren’t really sure if it was the right one, it worked though!

INSTALLATION

• During set up there was no facebook, google single sign in to make it easier for you but it was still easy enough to sign up
• Setup was fairly easy and quick
• Camera quality is clear and nice

• The video can be turned on and off so you can just hear baby/kids if you want

FEATURES

• The temperature of the room is displayed on the camera which is a VERY nice feature
• Sound is good and clear
• Colour is a little off if you care
• Video quality is good not high high quality but good enough that you can see everything, just not crystal clear for any of you techy’s out there

*here’s a photo of my son’s crib during the day, you can see his blanket and teddy bear, my husband wasn’t around to mount the camera but i would have put it higher to get a better view other than that I have no problem seeing him

Over all I would recommend this product. It does everything that a mom/parent would want. It even travels outside to the back yard or front porch as it’s connected to your wifi so it’ll go as far as your wifi will go. That sums up most of the important features i’d look for in a camera. I hope this review helps your decision when looking for a simple, effective and quality video monitor.
