Looking good and dressing up might feel like something that goes on your “Things I Don’t Have Time For” list, but they don’t have to. There are easy ways to accentuate your features, look great and feel gorgeous.
Beat the Baby Blues
If you’ve recently had a baby, your hormones might still be wreaking havoc on your skin. This could take the form of pigmentation, breakouts or dryness. The good news is that you should make your skincare routine much simpler in order to achieve gorgeous skin because product overload can cause your skin more irritation. The extra good news: all you need is five minutes for your skincare routine.
Smart Mom Tip: Keep all the products you need daily next to the bathroom basin so that you remember to apply them!
Get an Easy Hairstyle
You don’t want hair that’s too difficult to manage so get a cut that pretty much styles itself. An example is Michelle Williams’ long pixie cut with side-swept bangs that’s very low maintenance. Another idea is to ask your hairdresser for layers if your hair is longer. This will keep your hairstyle bouncy and it’s especially great if your hair tends to curl because it provides instant body. A quick douse of the hairdryer and a round brush after washing your hair and you’re good to go.

Think Ahead!
In the mornings, you don’t have time to spend rifling through your wardrobe or jewelry boxes to try to look put-together and stylish. So, make time by planning an outfit the night before and placing your accessories, such as a colourful scarf or chandelier earrings, next to your clothing. This saves you time and helps you look good really quickly.
Smart Mom Tip: All you need is one statement piece – other than a scarf, this could be a handbag, beautiful gemstone bracelet or hair clip – to make your look more stylish. If your outfit is patterned, choose a neutral accessory and vice versa, to avoid anything too harsh.
Find Fashionable Substitutes
When you’re tired and pressed for time, you might reach for your trusty (read: frumpy) tracksuit. A way around this kneejerk reaction is to invest in clothes that are comfortable and flattering so that you have them within reach on stressful mornings. An example is to buy jeans that make you look good and can be worn with slouchy tops and pretty pumps. A relaxed, yet stylish look!

Makeup on the Run
Wearing the right makeup can help you look refreshed, which is great for tired moms.
Looking gorgeous doesn’t have to take a lot of time or effort. By sneaking in some of the above tips you can go from mom to radiant mom in a flash.
