Mama, Get Your Sexy Back Part 2

So last week I had the pleasure of heading over to Ellamae Boudoir to get some photos done. Part 1 can be read here, explaining a little about the journey before hand.

I walked up the stairs with my heart beating kind of fast to be honest. I am still not sure exactly why I was as nervous as I was. It all changed within minutes of walking in the door when I was greeted with friendly smiles.

I was first taken into the “Girlfriend’s Closet” Filled with beautiful outfits, racks of gorgeous shoes and a little area for the hair and make-up. I love that. I love that you don’t have to have a closet full of sexy stuff and high pumps in order to get a boudoir shoot done. Heck you don’t really even need your own sexy underwear. They have brand new, tags still on stuff that you can use and keep afterwards.

How many moms A) Have super sexy stuff like that? or B) If they do, does it still fit or look the same it did pre tiger stripes?

After putting on a luxurious bathrobe the pampering began! Make-up, false lashes and curled gorgeous hair. I didn’t want to see until she was all finished and I was glad. When she turned me around in the chair, I was sure she was a magician! I looked amazing. I was scared I wouldn’t feel like me, all done up, but I felt like a much hotter version of myself actually!

It was time….. da da dun dun dun. We went into the shoot room and things were explained to me to make my life easier. I am certainly no professional model, so the tips were very appreciated. We had fun, laughed and I relaxed instantly. We changed outfits a few times and I got to pick what I was comfortable in. They gave me advice, but ultimately what I wanted was what I got and they worked with it.

I got to see a few pictures on the camera as they were shooting and I believe these photographers might be magicians too. My mummy tummy was invisible, and all the other mom related issues (and others) seemed to go away. It was great getting to feel like a woman. Not Mom, not Wife, not sister, daughter, business woman or anything else, just Jen. A very awesome looking Jen I might add!
