Rutherford House Culture Days

09/06/2013

As part of Alberta Culture Days, Rutherford House Provincial Historic Site puts the spotlight on local talent in the arts and culture community, all centered on wool; the history of wool in Alberta, its sources, uses and products made from wool. Visit with a local sheep farmer and his sheep, try your hand at carding and spinning wool, explore the handiwork of several artisans and create your own woolly craft. The entire family will enjoy an afternoon of demonstrations, art and historic crafts. Free admission for the event.
