Fisher Price Fun Sounds Farm

I don’t know where my daughter gets her love of farms and farm animals from. I am certainly a “city girl”, but this kid just loves farmers and cows and horses. When asked to do a review of the barnyard toy for Fisher Price I was sure the toddler would be happy.

As you can see she was pretty excited. I didn’t get to capture the jumping up and down saying “farmer mommy, farmer!”

As seen below there isn’t too much for assembly, thankfully. When the babe is cranky in the background and the impatient toddler is nipping at your heels, that is certainly appreciated. The parts just kind of snap together real quick and then two small screws in the back. But hey, if really impatient or not interested in searching for the screwdriver, the toy functions without the ladder that needs the screwing in!

The horse and the sheep immediately went into the gate, because they are obviously best friends forever right? This gate makes cute little animal sounds when they are opened. Adding to the excitement. “Moo mommy, moooooooooo!” The side also has a column that you can plunk them down into and it makes a noise at the bottom.

I like that it comes with 4 animals and the farmer. Usually you get one animal or just the farmer or something like that. It’s nice that it’s a complete set. The horse can be in the stable, cow on the slide and the sheep in the barn and the farmer, well in this case I’m pretty sure under the baby.

The box says its for 1-4 years, but my 6 month old seems to also be enjoying herself. Plus the pieces and the barn itself are appropriate size that I’m not worried about her choking or her sister sharing space!

There is a hay barrel lifter on the side and a dial under the rooster to help teach the little one to use these finer skills. And I actually witnessed my 2.5 year old connect the fence pieces together like a puzzle. I was amazed and delighted this toy was having her use skills I didn’t even know she knew!
