Kid’s Room Re-Do with Fizz & Bean!

Getting tired of my son’s room, I have been threatening to give it a makeover for a few months now. I was gifted a beautiful canvas by Fizz & Bean and decided to keep the pieces we already had and spruce things up a bit!  The pre-designed, blast off! canvas fit perfectly with some decor we already had (see our love for another local company, Eh Okay! here) so we’ll keep this theme for a little while longer.

For my son’s room, I repainted an old dresser and night table that belonged to his Dad when he was a kid and painted some unfinished shelving and picture frames to match. The colour scheme from Fizz & Bean fits in perfectly!  I love having a broad mix and not a standard set of matching furniture and decor!  Everything is old, new, gifted and blue!

My son is going zoom, zoom to the moon with excitement and having some out of this world dreams, I’m sure!!  I’m planning a remodel of the playroom and can’t wait to add the superheros set to the mix!!

Also, I absolutely LOVE to support local business so have to mention that the two awesome women behind this amazing company are here in Edmonton!  I actually first met Tracy (the designer behind all this goodness) when she was a participant in my Mom & Baby program!  I absolutely LOVE seeing new business ideas born with the addition of a little one!  It’s amazing how creative a sleep-deprived momma can be!  Great work Tracy and Krista – I can’t wait to see what the future holds for you both and you beautiful, budding business!!
