Simple Valentine’s Love Craft

02/12/2015

Making a baby or toddler craft or keepsake for every milestone, event or holiday can be overwhelming. And while Pinterest is a great place for ideas, it can also drive a busy mom crazy trying to keep up.

If you’re looking for a simple, fun Valentine’s Keepsake Craft to do with your baby or toddler, look no further.

What you need:valentine craft 1

A canvas – try Michael’s or the dollar store

Paint – choose non-toxic paint safe for wee fingers

Masking Tape or Frog Tape (we only had Scotch tape)

Paper Plate

Paintbrushes (optional) my munchkin used her hands

How to:

1. Spell out the word LOVE on the canvas in block letters with your tape. I couldn’t find my Frog Tape, so had to resort to Scotch Tape.

2. Depending on the age of your little one, let he or she choose a few colours and help shake and squeeze them onto the paper plate.

3. Let her paint!

4. Once the canvas dries, peel off the tape and voila!
