BrightPath West Henday is a brand new, state-of-the-art 20,000 sq. ft. childcare facility opening April, 2016.  Welcoming children between the ages of 6 weeks and 12 years old, BrightPath West Henday puts a parent’s mind at ease, offering the highest standards in curriculum, nutrition, technology and recreational fitness programming that BrightPath is renowned for. The facility offers a safe and welcoming environment.  It has a key-fob entrance, a full time receptionist and a variety of other safety measures in place to ensure your little one is safe and sound from the minute you drop them off.  Children are divided into age-appropriate rooms, each featuring a kitchenette and the necessary resources to ensure your child has what he or she needs at any time.  With an outdoor play area, children will receive as much time outdoors as possible for active play; however, if weather doesn’t cooperate, there is an onsite gym so you can be sure your little one is getting plenty of time to be active.

BrightPath takes a holistic approach to child development, combining a strong curriculum and a superior environment, supported by a team of educators to identify and create opportunities leading to a child’s success. The goal is to build up global citizens that will succeed in school and are confidently prepared for the future.  To help develop healthy choices for each child’s physical, psychological, social and emotional development, BrightPath West Henday’s all-inclusive program includes an integrated fitness, music and language program — and because success in life is about so much more than just what you know, etiquette is taught every moment of the day.

All children will be encouraged physically, emotionally, socially and mentally, leading to their ability to adapt, integrate, and flourish in any environment.  Focusing on each child’s individual interests, passions, strengths, and learning strategies, a learner portrait is developed and individualized program plans are designed, including objectives collaborated between your child, you, and BrightPath West Henday educators.  BrightPath West Henday understands the importance of a parent’s involvement in their child’s learning, so they provide developmental reports to parents every three months.  Educators take the learning and development of your child seriously, and understand that an individualized approach is the best way for a child to learn while having fun.

Your child will need some delicious food to keep up with all this fun and learning, so BrightPath West Henday has designed a menu that provides your child with the majority of their daily suggested nutritional intake (as per the Canadian Nutritional Food Guide).  Made from scratch, in their very own kitchen, the meals use fresh ingredients sourced locally whenever possible and are absolutely nut free.  BrightPath West Henday’s nutrition program is certified by a registered dietician, is age appropriate and will help your child experience new foods and flavours.

Preschool-aged children learn, create and explore their world at BrightPath West Henday.

BrightPath West Henday understands that as a parent, you want to be a part of your child’s precious moments and milestones while you’re away, and so BrightPath designed the BrightPath Connect app.  The app updates parents on their child’s daily activities, what he or she learned that day, how he or she interacted with their playmates and educators, and even allows pictures to be uploaded. This app provides parents with a real-time connection to their child, allowing them to be present even when they’re at work.
