Eight Homemade Fruity Popsicle Recipes

The day my daughter turned three, is the day she decided to no longer eat anything remotely healthy!

She used to love her fruits so I’ve recently discovered a way to get her to consume her fruits without the fight… popsicles!  

Here are eight of the easy homemade, kid friendly, fruit-filled popsicle recipes she enjoys!

Peaches and Cream

IngredientsPeaches

  • 4 ½ cups chopped peaches (skin on)
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • ½ cup half and half cream
  • ⅓ cup maple syrup

Directions

  1. Blend together peaches and vanilla.
  2. In a separate bowl, mix together cream and maple syrup.
  3. Drizzle 1 tbsp of the cream mixture into each popsicle mold, top with peach mixture and gently mix to create a swirl effect. Insert stick and freeze until solid.
Watermelon Mint
IngredientsWatermelon Mint
  • 3 cups chopped (deseeded) Watermelon
  • ½ cup Fresh Mint Leaves
  • 3 tbsp Sugar
  • Juice of 1 Lemon
  • ½ cup Water

Directions

  1. Boil the sugar & water together for about 6-8 mins to make the syrup.
  2. Blend the watermelon, syrup, lemon juice & mint together.
  3. Pour mixture into popsicle molds, insert stick and freeze until solid.
IngredientsStrawberry Basil
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 3/4 cup water
  • 4-6 thinly sliced basil leaves
  • 4 1/2 cups hulled strawberries

  1. Simmer sugar and water in a small saucepan until sugar is dissolved.
  2. Add basil leaves, simmer 1 minute and set aside.
  3. Blend strawberries until smooth.
  4. Add the sugar mixture and blend until just combined.
  5. Pour mixture into popsicle molds, insert stick and freeze until solid.
Tropical Fruit
IngredientsTangerine
  • ¾ cup coconut milk
  • ¾ cup coconut water
  • ½ cup coconut cream
  • Juice of half a lime
  • 1 lb of Clementine Tangerines, peeled
  • 12 oz fresh raspberries

Directions

  1. Place all ingredients in a food processor or blender and process or blend until pureed, about 1-2 minutes.
  2. Pour mixture through a medium strainer to remove the raspberry seeds.
  3. Pour mixture into popsicle molds, insert stick and freeze until solid.
Raspberry Lemonade
IngredientsRaspberry Lemonade
 
  • 3 cups raspberries
  • 1/2 cup fresh squeezed lemon juice
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 cup water

IngredientsPineapple Coconut


  • 4 cups pineapple chunks (about one pineapple)
  • 1 cup canned coconut milk
  • 1/2 cup sweetened coconut flakes

Directions

  1. Blend together pineapple, canned coconut milk, coconut flakes.
  2. Pour mixture into popsicle molds, insert stick and freeze until solid.
Chocolate Banana
IngredientsBanana Chocolate
  • 2 bananas
  • 2 cups skim milk
  • 1 packet chocolate pudding mix
  • 1/4 cup cocoa powder
Directions
  1. Blend together bananas, milk, chocolate pudding mix and cocoa powder.
  2. Pour mixture into popsicle molds, insert stick and freeze until solid.
Orange Yogurt
