Review: Lostmy.name Personalized Children’s Book

Lostmy.name are three dads and an uncle, who started all this as a DIY project!

They had a look at the UK census, and saw that there were 14,000 names on it. Which meant that, to be able to create a book for all of them, they needed to many, many different stories. And create over 200 illustrations. And then write about a billion miles of code to make all the technology work.

It soon changed, from a DIY project to a labour of love. But then they went public, and the reaction was amazing. People loved it, their kids loved it, everyone loved it. And because our customers are AMAZING, they told their friends and family about them! These books are geared toward ages 2 to 6.

I got the chance to review one of these amazing books! I ordered it for my daughter Katie, who is just starting preschool, it is a perfect book for us! We love the colorful and simple illustrations and genius way the book is put together. I even got to preview the book as I was ordering it. It really engages kids and takes them on their own personal journey, starting out brushing their teeth and combing their hair, and speaking politely along the way. Katie’s favorite part is a page where the girl (or boy) walks the path of a colorful alphabet which my daughter loves to sing together to. I am very happy to give this book to her as she begins a new learning chapter in her life!
