Review for Minbie bottle

So I’m not going to lie, I was a bit nervous about writing a review on a new bottle because my baby is SO picky when it comes to her bottles! Up until this point she has pretty much been exclusively breastfed when it comes to milk; she would get the odd bottle if I could not be home one night, but it was not very often. To our extreme delight, she LOVED the Minbie bottle and literally guzzled the expressed milk down! The lateral and longitudinal contours of the teat allows baby to bottle feed using the instinctive breastfeeding techniques that they are born with so they do not have to change anything in their sucking. This, along with the taper of the teat, is an obvious plus because it prevents any feeding confusion, it ensures the baby still has to work and does not become a ‘lazy’ feeder, and it can help improve latch if there are any issues. The design of the teat allows the baby to control the feed-rate which helps prevent reflux, and provides a sustainable latch for good venting to prevent colic.  In my opinion, they thought of everything when designing this bottle; they even positioned the nipple slightly off-center so that it more like a feeding mother’s making it more natural and helping to provide a more sustainable latch! What I like the most about this product is that the teat can fit on some of my other standard wide-neck bottles, so I don’t have to go out and buy all new bottles!
