We received the Munch Mitt a couple months ago, which was perfect timing since we had a cranky teething baby! Miss K took to the Munch Mitt fairly quickly and was very happy to chew on the silicone end to help ease the pain in her gums. This portion of the Munch Mitt, which basically covers the fingertips, is made of food grade silicone, BPA and Phthalate free, so it’s totally safe for your baby to chew as much he/she desires! The portion of the Munch Mitt that covers the rest of the hand has a crinkle material inside of it so that when the baby moves their hand it makes a crinkle noise, which helps entertain them! The bright colors and patterns also help with the entertainment portion, as it helps keep their attention. The best part of the Munch Mitt to me is that it has a Velcro strap on the bottom to keep it on your baby’s hand, making it safe for them to use while they are in the stroller or car seat when you can’t supervise them as closely. I’m sure I’m not the only mom that was getting tired of constantly picking up and having to rewash teething toys every time baby threw it on the ground (which is pretty much constantly!)!! If you do need to wash the Munch, you can wash it in a regular load of laundry and dry it on gentle with low or no heat, making it extremely easy and convenient to clean! Overall, the Munch Mitt has been awesome with my baby and I only have positive things to say about it! It’s easy to use, effective for teething and entertaining and really convenient!
