The Brica Push to Close Extending Metal Gate has been a really great product overall. The set up for the gate was relatively easy, although there are some steps that were a little difficult to get through. In the end we worked it out pretty easily though and it adjusted well to the width of our stair opening. We love how easy it is to open and the fact that I can open it with one hand, but my children (3 & 1) cannot get it open so I feel secure that they are safe. It also locks at the top and the bottom of the gate so when my 3 year old is hanging on it (we all know they do that!) it was still really secure! It’s also easy to close, both my 3 and 1 year old can do it. We have it at the top of the stairs so it was really important to me that it can safely block them from getting out, but I’m also often going in and out of the room with my hands full so this has been a great set up! A lot of my friends have gates that have a metal bar across the bottom, which I have stubbed my toe on a few times, so I’m really happy that this one doesn’t have it. Overall I would say that this is a really good product and we have been happy with it so far. Here are some other great features about this gate:
