Miss K got hot in her winter jacket but was warm enough with her Trailhopper!

Miss K was the lucky recipient of a TrailHopper from Cozey7 and, with the moderate winter we’ve had, it’s made going outside a breeze! I don’t know about your toddlers, but mine hates getting dressed! Even with the enticement of being able to go out and play in the snow (which she loves), it still takes well over half an hour normally to get all of her winter stuff on! The TrailHopper suit has definitely cut this time down significantly with its easy one piece, sleeveless design. I love that it’s one piece because it prevents wind or snow from going up her jacket or down her pants when we’re playing outside. The fabric is Polartec fleece, so it’s warm but breathable which is also great because my Miss K is a hotbox! With the sleeveless design it’s like she’s wearing a thin warm vest so if she’s too hot I can take her jacket off and her core stays warm! It’s also thin so she can wear it under her jacket and snowpants without a huge hassle. Honestly though one of the biggest positives for me with this product is that it’s car seat friendly! It’s thin enough that it doesn’t affect the straps and the Polartec fleece means it keeps her warm enough on cold days driving with a long sleeve shirt underneath! Other great components are the flip-over foot cuffs which we use inside her Stonz instead of buying their liners, the flap on the zipper which makes it easy to pull up and down, and the stuff sack it comes with which makes it great for packing! (Sidenote: I also used the stuff sack to carry home the pretty rocks Miss K insisted we take home from the playground!). Washing is a breeze as the outfit is machine washable in cool water and can be tumble dried. As an added bonus, Cozey7 is very conscientious of their impact on the environment, they are a small family run business, and they have an amazingly touching start up story that shows the love and care that they have put into developing their products! Overall I would absolutely recommend this product to anyone with small children or babies who are looking for an easy, versatile way to keep them warm!
