Review of the Tegu magnetic wooden blocks from Mastermind Toys

Thank you so much to Mastermind Toys, Canada’s Premier Specialty Toy Retailer for sending us the Tegu magnetic wooden blocks to check out.  My little man couldn’t wait to get his hands on these!  If you are still needing a last minute Christmas gift, I highly recommend you check out these blocks!

The blocks are 100% non-toxic, using water-based dyes. No lead and no plastic. I love the colours and different shapes. There are different colours available.  Our 42 piece kit also included 4 wheels. Kits are also available in 24 and 14 piece kits.  Seeing as my son is only 10 months old, he loved to hold them, bang them together and of course chew on them.  But this will be a great toy that will grow with him.  They are quality made and will last.  There are no small parts. I like the fact that if I step on these. unlike similar toys it shouldn’t hurt as badly! haha.  My husband also played with the blocks and built different vehicles. The 42 piece retails for $109.95 at Mastermind Toys.  I noticed that the same set is selling for $122.99 on Amazon! So it is a great deal to get them at Mastermind Toys.

The Tegu blocks are manufactured in Honduras. The name Tegu comes from their capital city, Tegucigalpa. Tegu provides for tree planting, child education, and holistic employment in Honduras. The wood is harvested from the most sustainable material available.
