Mom and Baby TRX Class Review
Finding time to exercise with little ones is no easy feat. Sure you can sign up for a gym with a daycare, fit in daily walks, or wait until your co-parent finally walks through the door – or you can sign up for the Mom and Baby TRX class at Body Design Fitness.
In this class, moms are encouraged to work out right beside their babies in a welcoming and supportive environment. Once a week for one hour, moms are encouraged to wear their baby in a carrier or let their baby play while they workout.
I joined the class shortly after my son was born and within weeks saw a tremendous boost in not only my physical fitness but also my mental and emotional fitness. TRX is a full body work out, targeting biceps, triceps, abs, and legs, all while engaging the core.
The space is judgement-free and relaxed. Since all the clients in the class are also moms, they get it if I need to sit down and nurse my son or change his diaper. And the best thing is that while I work out my muscles I also get to meet other moms. It’s a great way to make new friends and chat! (And my baby got some much needed social interaction too!).
I highly recommend the Mom and Baby TRX class at Body Design Fitness. The relaxed atmosphere and instructor’s knowledge makes me feel welcome and motivated. I never have to worry about my son disrupting my workout and he gets to see me prioritize my health. It’s really a win-win for everyone!
