Stoney Creek Dog Park 

Over the past few days, I’ve been discussing numerous park locations and why I like them. Today, I plan to do the same thing, except I’m going to be discussing a dog park. Now I’m a huge animal lover. I have three dogs whom I adore and spoil rotten. Two of them are trained off leash, and I’m currently working on training my third.

I love this dog park because one, they have two sections. They have a small dog area and a big dog area. I personally love this because since I have three small little dogs, I sometimes feel uncomfortable with them being in the same surroundings as large dogs. With the areas separated, I feel more secure with letting my dogs roam.

This dog park is actually quite big. The small section has some bush area in the middle and the trail is a giant circle around the bush with the front area being able to play. The larger area is again huge and has multiple different trails that you can walk your dog down. Since it is an off-leash area the dogs are free to roam and the entire park is secure with fencing (just in case you are training like I am). The bigger area also has a small water area that the dogs can play in if you’re comfortable with that.

For the most part, whenever I go it has been fairly busy and I’ve had no concern for my dogs’ safety. From what I’ve seen many kids come with their parents to walk their dogs because of the atmosphere. I enjoy my time here and my dogs certainly enjoy it too.
