Hi there and welcome to our fifth Feature Friday!  I cannot believe we’ve already been doing this for five weeks! Feels like just yesterday I contacted some of our local experts to talk to us. Today, I would love to introduce Erin. She’s a photographer that takes beautiful photos of portraits and bridals settings. Before we get started I want to again thank Erin for her contributions and for taking the time to talk to us.

How do you help people?

I help people by capturing the special times in their lives and documenting how quickly little ones grow!

What was the hardest part about creating your business?

The hardest part about creating my business was the whole business aspect, I did a Bachelor of Fine Art majoring in photography and it was all about the art of photography rather than anything business. I had to reach out to different resources and learn from webinars etc. how to advertise, set everything up legally etc.

What are some of your hobbies?

I work 7 days a week so don’t have much time for hobbies but if I can make time my main hobby is scrapbooking.

Where is your favourite place to visit in London?

My favourite place to visit in London would be anywhere that good food and company are!

Where do you see yourself in five years?

I see myself with a couple of kids and hopefully continuing to grow Woodgate Photography.

Is there anything else you would like to say?

I recommend to anyone interested in pursuing photography as a career to go to school and learn the basics but then grow upon that is assisting photographers in the field you would like to get into. If you would like to pursue photography as a hobby or learn how to capture better candid photographs of your kids, ask me about my camera basic’s workshop.
