When I was little, my siblings and I always went to the corner store to grab slushies. I personally loved the Coca-Cola slushy and it was my go-to flavour. It was something we grabbed almost every day in the summertime (probably not the healthiest decision, but as kids, we obviously didn’t care). Now I try and make my own, especially on these hot summer days.
Now that I’m older I try to watch the consumption of sugar in myself and my kids. So in order to do that, I try to make my own snacks and more homemade foods and snacks for my kids. I’ve posted the directions and ingredients for our recipe.
Orange seems to be the families favourite, but you can choose whatever flavour you want! You can even try combining them. My daughter wanted the cherry and orange flavour mixed together (Yuck! for me…. but she loved it!)
