Exciting news! We’re thrilled to welcome another

Exciting news! We’re thrilled to welcome another incredible presenter to our upcoming Peterborough group—Kelly Proulx!

Kelly is a Registered Dietitian and Certified Diabetes Educator dedicated to helping individuals improve their health through nutrition.

Currently, Kelly works in the Pediatric Outpatient Clinic at Peterborough Regional Health Centre, specializing in the regional Pediatric Diabetes program and the Healthy Kids and Teens program. She also has extensive experience in pre- and post-natal nutrition, as well as infant and toddler nutrition.

In addition to her hospital work, Kelly runs Mindful Nutrition and Wellness at the Be Well Centre in downtown Peterborough. Through her private practice, she supports adults with weight management, prediabetes, type 2 diabetes, and heart disease. Her newest passion is empowering women through perimenopause, menopause, and post-menopause, helping them navigate these transitions with a focus on nutrition and overall wellness.

Priority Access Waitlists are OPEN for our May/June programming!

Waitlists are up for:
🌼 Peterborough Mom & Baby (0-7 Months)
🌼 Peterborough Mini Movers (8-18 Months)

Mom and Baby: 6 week program perfect for mamas looking to connect with other moms and babies! We learn about local businesses/experts in the PTBO OR Kawartha Lakes community and what services they have to support moms and babes. Some topics covered can include pelvic floor health, mom and baby chiropractic care, infant sleep etc. We also incorporate some fun activities like music, yoga, fitness and arts and crafts.

Mini Movers: 6 week program for caregivers and babes approximately 9-18 months. It is a great opportunity to have fun with your scooter, crawler or early walker while socializing with other parents. Each week features a discussion and/or activity led by a local expert, followed by a chance for the littles to play and socialize in a fun and safe environment. Learning valuable information from local experts and try some activities that your busy babe will love.

To all the moms—past, present, and future—who have been part of Mommy Connections Peterborough & Kawartha Lakes, thank you from the bottom of my heart! The past two years have been an incredible journey, filled with laughter, learning, and the most amazing connections. It has truly been an honor to bring this community together and work alongside so many passionate presenters who pour their hearts into supporting moms and babies.

That being said, I’ve made the bittersweet decision to step away from running this chapter. With new opportunities on my path, I want to ensure that Mommy Connections continues to grow in the way I know it can. The exciting news? I’m passing the torch to the wonderful Roxanne (@yourdoularox) a fellow mom and entrepreneur who is ready to carry this community forward with so much passion!
