Renovation Storage was Made Simple by BigSteelBox

We are wrapping up one of our big summer jobs – drywalling our garage. It’s been on our to-do list since we moved in 8 years ago and we finally decided to do it this year. One of the biggest things holding us back was what to do with everything in our garage – we have a lot in there. If we moved everything into the middle and tried to work around it there would be no way to do the ceiling and we didn’t want to keep moving things and working out it. We also didn’t want to move everything into our basement or move it outside where there is a chance of thief, rain or mice. We decided to get a steel portable storage unit from BigSteelBox.

We are so happy with our decision – it was so easy and convenient. We were able to empty our garage which gave us a great working space – we didn’t need to worry about moving things around or getting things dusty – the garage got really dusty during the sanding! I loved not having to worry about our belongings – we always knew everything was safe and secure on our driveway. It was just as easy to go into the storage unit to get something as it was to go into the garage. It was very convenient to have our belongings stored right on our property so we could access them whenever we needed.

We are currently in the process of unloading the storage unit and we really enjoy the flexibility it allows – we are able to unload at our leisure and as we have time. As we load things back into our garage we are re-arranging from what we previously had so that is taking some time and we enjoy not being rushed. And as you know summer is busy with various activities so some days we don’t have as much time as other days to work out in the garage.

The customer service has also been great – the staff was amazing to work with to arrange drop off of the box and they have been great to deal with to arrange a time to pick it up to ensure it works with our schedule! I love how it is delivered right to our house and they come and pick it up when we are done.
